Dr. LaBrozzi's research examines how to facilitate classroom second language acquisition for adult second language learners. Many of his research ideas come from being in the classroom and working with Spanish language learners. He pursues two main lines of research: the first investigates second language processing and cognitive individual differences, such as working memory and inhibitory control; the second examines how manipulating visual linguistic input affects learners' grammar and vocabulary acquisition. He welcomes collaboration with undergraduate students on this and similar work.
