The Justice Fellow program pairs undergraduate students with a nonprofit organization or campus-based initiative for a community-based learning experience that engages students in positive social change work. The Justice Fellow program allows community organizations to gain direct service and capacity-building support, while providing learning opportunities for undergraduate students.

Fellows are hired as BSU student employees and work 10 hours per week throughout the academic year. An MRISJ staff member serves as a campus advisor to provide guidance to Justice Fellows to support their community work and increase their understanding of social justice, community engagement and social change. Justice Fellows meet regularly as a cohort to integrate issue specific education and reflection into their experience.

Justice Fellows have worked with organizations in ÁÔÆæÖØ¿ÚÊÓƵ, Brockton, Easton, Middleboro, Taunton, and on our BSU campus.
